This review is my opinion only. I have been using the Makeup Forever Mat
Velvet+ for several months now, and I have been enjoying it thoroughly. It has a thicker consistency than most liquid makeups, and it has full coverage as well. But, if you wanted a more sheer coverage, you could use a damp sponge to sheer it out. I have alot of redness, so I prefer full converage. This product has not broken me out either. It does stay mat for at least 8 hours for me, however, people have different skin, so it may not be the same for some people. And with this product, a little goes a long way, so that outweighs the price. I will definitely repurchase this makeup. It is definitely worth the splurge, at least for me. I use a foundation brush to apply this product, and it works wonders. Makeup Forever has the best products that I have used, however, I have not tried the HD Foundation yet, because I love the Mat Valvet+ so much. But I am planning on purchasing it in the near future.
